Eugenio Salcedo

Destination wedding photographer based in San José del Cabo, with a studio in Riviera Maya — and a camera in hand since I was six.

For nearly twenty years I've photographed weddings across Mexico and the Caribbean: oceanfront ceremonies in Los Cabos, garden vows in Todos Santos, ultra-luxury Hindu and Christian celebrations, and editorial work for international brands.

Before opening my own studio, I spent years in resort wedding photography — with Meliá Hotels from 2016 to 2023 in Cancún, Riviera Maya, the Dominican Republic and Los Cabos, and later with Playa Resorts. That's where I learned how a destination wedding really runs: the timelines, the venues, the planners, and how little time there is for the light.

Michelangelo left some sculptures unfinished, and they feel more alive for it. I photograph the same way: the glance before the vows, the hand that hasn't let go yet, the moment just before the laugh. Images that suggest more than they show — so every time you look at them, you finish the story yourselves.
